5 JUNE 2021 - On World Environment Day, a new website has launched to give young people the tested knowledge, insights, resources, and connections to influence the UNFCCC climate negotiation processes - and push for meaningful action from their governments to keep average global temperature rise below 1.5 C.
Youth Climate Action is a joint project between YOUNGOs, CliMates, and the International Institute for Sustainable Development. Drawing on the considerable resources each organization has gathered to prepare their delegates for climate conferences as well as the Earth Negotiations Bulletin reporting service, the website aims to connect young people concerned about runaway climate change to their peers and the tools they need to make an impact.
